distinction would be OK - but bright blue - at least give the option to change the color. It hurts my eyes. I don't really understand anymore why everytime there is an update, more and more customizations are eliviated. Maybe it's finally time to leave Mozilla. Nothing but pain since a long time.

This may not mean much to the mozilla crew - but it is utter annoyance to me and time consuming to "fix" after every update.I look at that screen all day, every day, and - yes, I dare to customize it so it is easier for me to work. Just one example, and I am not alone at this: every time after an update the tab bar is moved up, which does not make sense to people that use it all day long. The 71. update was even worse, not even a space left for it anymore. Resulting again, as always go back to chrome css, trying to get the stuff back one works with all the time.

It just by now is too cumbersome to already know that something will again brake or be eliminated with the next update. I have weathered mozilla since it's inception. But am just tired of always having to adjust the same things, yet needing a different css line again.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
