That is why I can see the subtitles when I open the video file with VLC. When I put the files on my website and open them from Firefox, I get audio and video and NOT subtitles, and I have found no controls to allow me to see the subtitles.

Using Win10 1909 (2) Firefox 77.0.1 (64-bit)

On my website, I created and copied: filename.m4v filename.eng.srt filename.eng.vtt filename.fre.srt filename.fre.vtt

an then tried to play "filename.m4v" - video and audio played - no subtitles
