Folder Pane disappeared

Today, my folder pane disappeared. I have been searching for solutions and have discovered the following:

1- When I look in my profile in the Mail folder, all of my Local Folders are listed. 2- When I search for mail, I am able to find old emails.

However, my main display will only show my Inbox. There is no list of folders to the left of the screen.

i found a fix, but something happened while I was flogging around trying to find out what happened. Now some of my local folders are missing, but they are in the Local Folders in my Profile.
