Lost Integration with Sage 50 Accounting in Windows 10
I have run TB and Sage 50 accounting in Windows 7 for years with no problem. I just upgraded to new computers with Windows 10 and lost integration between TB and Sage 50. TB is set as my default email server in Windows, but Sage does not integrate and and will not send. Sage gives error message for "cannot find default email server."
I've run all the solutions Sage can suggest with no resolution. We are not sure if the problem is in TB or Windows. I'm hoping to find a resolution or work-around in TB because I dread trying to get anything out of Microsoft. Anyone have ideas on how to integrate TB and Sage 50?

On the W7 computer is TB 32 bit or 64 bit? On the W10 computer? Is Sage 32 or 64 bit?
If Sage is 32 bit, it won't connect to TB 64 bit. (This has nothing to do with Windows, which is probably 64 bit on both computers).
I checked the W10 computer and checked with Sage. Both TB and Sage apps are 32 Bit (Sage does not offer 64 Bit yet). I have TB set as the default email, but Sage does not recognize ir integrate to it. Still looking for a solution.
One thing you can try, which sometimes fixes these MAPI issues, is to download and run the full installer over your existing setup (get the exact same version for win32), click Advanced in the setup window and set TB as the default email client, then at the end of the setup, do not start TB, but restart the computer. After restart, see if Sage recognizes TB when you try to send a file.
After several hours with MS support techs, it appears to be a registry problem. My W10 registry is not identifying a default email server that other apps can find.
