We cannot send or receive emails with thunderbird, we get different error messages such as:

- An error occurred while sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: Cannot connect to SMTP server 45.56.216.114 (45.56.216.114:587), connect error 10060.

- Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.partybusbangkok.com timed out. Try again.

- Connection to server teambuildingbkk.com timed out

- An error occurred with the POP3 mail server. Mail server mail.internships-thailand.com responded:

I am stuck and need urgently to access my email, anyone can help?

Thanks a lot!

Benjamin

Thunderbird 78 changed the minimum TLS to TLSv1.2 Many servers are still using out of date TLS, if this is effecting you then the info at the following link will fix the problem. Reset the minimum and then restart Thunderbird.
