Help please. Thunderbird has worked great for years, but we had a power outage 4-2 days ago. Now when I open Thunderbird it downloads and opens my emails improperly... incompletely. e.g.: For example, formerly I would open an email from, say, a business or organization and it would open with all its pictures and links (is that what you call HTML?). Now it opens with no pictures and no (or some) usable links, but only SOME (not all, I'm sure) text, everything in black and white. Another example: Today I received an email from firefox.com. It was just text with an empty black & white square at the top, no picture. Please help if you can to get my Thunderbird working properly again; the incomplete emails I've gotten in the last couple days are causing me some problems. Thanks so much for your time. -Knute M.

Solution found! In Thunderbird go to View > Message Body As > and click "Original HTML". That solved all the problems. Somehow it had wrongly been set to "Simple HTML" which caused the problems.
