My sent messages does not go to the map sent, why is this?

Every time i sent a message i expect this to apear in mij map sent massages but it don't do this. I can not find my sent messages in any map. I use Mozzila Thunderbird 78.6.0 Can anyone please help me out what i did wrong? Thank you in advance Henk van Gog

Dear readers: I found it myself!! Did not know why i overlooked this but i looked in my accountsettings and there was a item called copy&maps and there i saw the missing link to put a copy in the map sent. So sorry i put this here but mabye someone else has this problem and read this.

just guessing. But it has come up before.

Right click the account in the folder pane and select the subscribe entry in the menu locate the folder you think should be the sent mail folder and ensure it is subscribed.

Now right click the account in the folder pane again and click settings. In the copies and folders entry set the sent mail to be copied to the folder you identified using the "Other" entry.

No guarantees, but if the Thunderbird and server are having language issues (English Vs German for instance) then this usually fixes it.
