When trying to add Gmail account to Thunderbird i get the following message. Someone just used your password to try to sign in to your account from a non-Google app. Google blocked them i have gmail on my android phone and it works fine. How can I resolve this

I would guess you might need the following enabled while you configure the account. https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps?

Please post back your results. if it does have to be turned on we have a bug.

I don't know what solved it. I just retried adding the account and it worked.
