Il messaggio indica che il server di posta a cui cerchi di collegarti chiude la connessione.

Questo di solito indica che c'è un problema sul server. Più raramente potrebbe indicare un errore di configurazione di Thunderbird. Ma senza ulteriori informazioni non saprei dirti di più.
