Can't download new mail from zoho
I upgraded to version 91.4.0 and I can no longer download new email from zoho. When I click on "get messages", nothing happens. My email from gmail comes in fine. I need to quit Thunderbird and restart it and then it downloads the new mail. How do I fix this?

At which point after a restart does it stop reaching Zoho?
The new email started loading in Inbox as soon as thunderbird restarted but after that I couldn’t get any additional new email unless I quit thunderbird and restarted it again. I do not have this problem with apple mail and didn’t have a problem with thunderbird until I upgraded to the latest version so I figure it must be a problem with the new version.
The latest version works just fine for me as far as fetching messages is concerned. Which version did you upgrade from?
When you click the Get Messages button, it only does that for the current account, not all accounts. Click the drop-down arrow attached to the right of that button and select the other option to get messages for all accounts. While it's responding to the click, look at the status bar messages of what's going on. You should see various messages as Thunderbird finds your mail servers, sends login information, opens inbox, looks for new messages and so on. Do you see such messages for your Zoho account?
I’m traveling w/o my computer so can’t verify the version info but when I click on get messages for my zoho account it does nothing - it’s as if there is no new mail. If I open apple mail on my phone, it downloads several new mail messages from Zoho however. And if I quit thunderbird and restart it, I get all of those new email messages right away. Maybe there’s some new setting on the account that I’m unaware of it but by explicitly requesting new mail, I should think it would find them w/o having to restart thunderbird.
I'm so glad that I'm not going insane !
I have basically the same problem. About three/four days ago, late one evening, I had an automatic TB update [please wait while we update you to ...] which I find is quite normal after using TB for several years. I turned off my desktop [don't like running it overnight] and went to bed. Following morning, turned it on, sorted out emails on TB from two accounts, and went to the gym after setting the house alarm. When I returned, I obviously needed to unset the alarm, then check and clear the CCTV alerts, and get down to work, while having a cuppa [such a lucky but boring life]. it was about an hour later when I realised that the CCTV had NOT reported my exit or entry, and neither had my alarm panel. Due to the powercuts we experience, our IT systems are all on 6-8 hour UPS supplies, as is our heating and main freezer. Grabbing my android phone to check [I use bluemail on android], everything WAS as expected, and all the usual alerts were there, but on the desktop, NOT a single email on TB via Zoho mail since I had turned the pc on several hours earlier. I had emails from my GMX account as usual. Since this started, I have been unable to receive a single email from Zoho via TB on one desktop, and two laptops without restarting TB, despite the following actions
1] checking and installing, any and all] updates to the OS [win10], TB, Windows defender, etc etc 2] COMPLETE un-install, clean, reboot, and new install of TB 3] auto install of account 4] Manual install of account 5] changing password several times [yes, I am paranoid, but I sleep better that way] 6] doing the same stuff again on my laptop 7] getting my partner [a major NHS IT director] to check my work 8] asking my partner to ask her team if they knew anything 9] borrowing a friend's laptop to try all of the above 10] repeating most of the above at least three times Obviously, I've checked service status, down detector etc, but as Zoho has been 100% on my android, I do not believe this is a Zoho issue. GMX has been 100% solid on both TB and Android at all times
At my wits end. The common factor in all of this is Zoho, Thunderbird and MS. I personally don't think it's Zoho, or MS, but I really don't care, I just need a fix.

Try going back to version 91.3.2, which is the last version before 91.4.0 rolled out a few days ago. You can download it from https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/ for your respective OSes. If this was caused by some change in 91.4.0 then rolling back should fix it.
