Firefox using different timezone than the host OS (OSX)

My browser's javascript engine is showing a different time zone than the host OS, OSX in this case. Currently the OS is configured as Central Standard Time (CST), but Firefox is showing Central Daylight Time (CDT).

This should be fixed in Firefox 119 (Bug 1856428).
