I click on the icon and firefox will not start or try to start

I installed Avery labels and then had trouble with tool bar remover avery but now firefox will not start up when i click on icon. I removed Firefox and reinstalled but will not run.

It sounds like you may have a problem caused by an extension (maybe that avery toolbar)

Try the instructions in this article - begin by putting Firefox in Safe Mode. If Firefox will start in safe mode, continue with the section #Disable_all_extensions|Disable all extensions and then #Test_for_faulty_extensions|Test for faulty extensions
