At local library site, Firefox prevent the page from automatically directing to another page. How do I fix this?

I can sign on to my account at my local library's web site. However, when I go to the search page which enables me to see the NY Times Best Seller Lists, Firefox does not allow the current page (search page) to automatically redirect to another page (NY Times Best Seller List site). Normally, if I click on the "Allow" button which is located to the right of the Firefox message, I can continue. However, clicking on the "allow" button doesn't work and eventually I am timed out of the library website. Appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!
