a proxy server constantly denies me iternet access leading me to re-load firefox on a daily basis. Why does this happen

When i try to access internet, a notice comes up saying a proxy server is not allowing me access. there seems to be no pattern. It happens every other day, sometimes every day. each time we have to reload firefox from our downloads. We are currently running firefox3.6
