Installed version 4. Where is the orange Firefox tab in the left hand top corner?

After installing Firefox 4 I watched the tutorials. There is supposed to be an orange color tab in the upper left hand corner of the browser - the tab is named 'Firefox'. After installation I find I have no tab. Where is it? Is it necessary? I am using XP Pro

View > Toolbars = un-check the Menu bar item
