Firefox won't come up. I had to use Internet Explorer to get on. What do I do?

I have used Mozilla Firefox for entry to the Internet for several years. A few days ago, when I click on the icon, it doesn't come up. I went into Programs and clicked, still nothing.

Open Task Manager, is firefox.exe listed as a running process on the Processes tab? If so, try closing it and restarting the browser...
