I need to change the buffer size in the Flash player. The setup window pops up, but seems to be in a disabled state that will not allow changing anything. The only way to remove the disabled setup window is to do a reload. This removes the Flash Player setup window and restores all to normal. How do I re-enable the Flash Player setup to function normally? This worked three versions ago.

You can try to delete the Flash settings folder on your hard drive.

Delete the macromedia.com and #SharedObjects folders to reset all Flash cookies and settings.

%AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player\
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\

The "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K and the "AppData" folder in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.

This suggestion does not help. I have deleted all files related to the Flash Player retried with same results. I have reloaded the latest 10.3 Flash Player with same results. The setup window for the Flash Player appears, but is grayed out indicating not available for use. Nothing functions or is accessible.

Down loaded "YouTube videos + 3.3.51 Extension. Seemed to fix the problem so far. Disabled this Extension and found that the Flash Player setup window was still active. Not sure what happened, but so far so good.
