added device doesn't load sync'd data
I setup sync on 'master' device and selected use this data on all machines. I then added a second machine and the original data on the second machine was removed but the supposedly "sync'd" data never downloaded. I have looked through all of the help pages and seem to be doing everything correctly but to no avail. What's up??

Hi!
How much did you wait after the initial sync?
The way it works is that the information from the first and the second computer are moved to the second and to the first computer respectively. All the information is merged and there's no Master-Slave set up.
What I'm not really sure is that you deleted the information from the first device or the second. If you removed the information from this computer after the sync setup you may have removed all the info from the servers too.
If what you meant is that you removed the data from the secondary computer before you started to Sync, then you should give some times to the system to download the info.
Could you clarify when and how did you removed the data?
Ibai Tks for response I'll try to explain it more clearly (I hope) I originally set up machine1 to use that 'data' (bookmarks, passwords, etc.) on all machines. When I configured the second machine I chose the option to use sync'd 'data' and not merge (I didn't want multiple entries). The 'sync' started and IT removed all of the 'data' on the second machine and after several hours and now a day or so nothing is "sync'd" on macine two
Hi!
I feel like the issue is in the timing. When did you configured the first machine? Was it weeks ago and you never used that account again?
Otherwise, did you give enough time to the first machine to upload everything to the server? This could be up to one hour if your connection is not fast.
If the machine was set up recently or has been in use lately then it may be related to your new computer and we will need to see some logs to troubleshoot. If this is the case, do you mind opening a bug? The following link contains all the info you need: https://philikon.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/how-to-file-a-good-sync-bug/
