Why is the display grayed out? andhow do I increase the contrast?
I just "updated" from Firefox 3.6.27 to 17. The new look is impossible for me to work with. Everything is faded out, grayed out, no color contrasts...... I tried to find a persona/theme to change this, but the page displaying the persona/themes is so faded out I can't tell what I'm searching for. Isn't there some way to turn off this faded out hazy style?

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"

The setup is the default that comes with Firefox 17. If I could find any settings to increase the contrast I would have done so already. This blue/gray mess is really hard for older computer users. Every thing was just fine thank you, in Firefox 3.6.27 Well, up until they started messing around with forced plugin update checker. Then it started crashing every few minutes, until i gave in and installed this worthless piece of trash Firefox 17. I don't want to live in a blue/gray haze. I want color differentiation and lots of contrast. And I want all the tool bars and address bar above the page tabs. Meanwhile if I go to get an add-on that will change the color scheme, it gives me thousands, but they are faded out. Apparently Mozilla no longer offers add-on that are compatible with the current browser.
