My google mail page suddenly miniaturized to the extent that I can't read a single word. Have to use Internet Explorer now, which I hate, but this is worse.

Some thread from a couple years ago said to go to "View" and change things but a. since I can't see a thing on the screen the advice would be useless anyway and b. I don't think there's any "view" command, tab or whatever on the screen even if I could see it. This is beyond annoying. I did NOTHING to make this happen other than a random mouseclick.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

   Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/

This I found better than NoSquint.

You may have zoomed the page by accident with Ctrl and the mouse scroll wheel.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
