Verified password is OK using webmail (webmail.ca.rr.com). When I load Thunderbird and use Get Mail, it asks me to enter my password. I input confirmed good password and receive the message "Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.ca.rr.com responded: mail storage services unavailable, wait a few minutes and try again." When I click OK it responds with "Login to server pop.ca.rr.com failed." If I click on Enter New Password or Retry, I get the first message again.

Uninstalled and reinstalled latest Thunderbird. Still getting the same messages. Trying to figure out what to do next.

Check with Roadrunner whether they have server issues.

Already did that. Not a server issue. In fact, I just added the account in question to Thunderbird running on a different computer and don't have the problem on the second computer.
