Why cant Thunderbird add my Email account "@gmail"?

When trying to add a gmail email account or any other email account, thunderbird gives an error message saying "thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account".

Turn off your antivirus and Firewall and check it out.

Thunderbird may be failed to get the gmail account. Try it manually.
