How do I bypass print preview?
I just update to Firefox 29. Now when I print by clicking on the printer icon in the toolbar, I have to go through print preview instead of just selecting a printer. How do I bypass print preview so I can do my work faster?

I'm having a hard time thinking of the connection between a print add-on and the size of tabs. ?? Can you disable that add-on to see whether they come back to normal?
I am aware of an add-on to resize the font used in the menu/tab/toolbar area. After you install it, you will see a small "A" icon to call up its dialog. Then you can change the font size.

Your options to call up the print dialog directly are:
- Ctrl+p
- File menu > Print
The File menu may not be displayed, but you can temporarily show it by pressing Alt+f (or tap the Alt key)
Does that work for you? If not, there might be an add-on which has a specific print button.
I'll have to get used to hitting Ctrl+p instead of clicking on the printer icon.
I have a new problem now. I tried one of the Print add-ons and now all my tabs have been reduced in height and are very hard to read. Is there a way to increase the font size in the tab titles? I'm using Tab Mix Plus and can't find a control for that in either of the options menus.

hi ssosensky, if you right click on the "open new tab" button and select "menu bar", the different menus at the top of firefox window will restored, and you will can have "the print" and "print preview" options again.
i hope i've been helpful.

Thanks, jscher2000! That add-on fixed the problem.
romsdu81 - That doesn't work for me. Only the Print button appears on the menu which now executes "Print Preview" instead of "Print..."
Hi Jeff, are you on Windows?
If you tap the Alt key on the keyboard, the classic menu bar should appear temporarily. You can find Print on the File menu.
To display the bar all the time, you can (as romsdu81 mentions) right-click on a blank area of the tab bar or the new tab "+" button on the tab bar.
However, Ctrl+p is faster is faster than using either menu if you can get used to it.
jscher2000 - We already know the shortcut and print command from the menu. BRING BACK THE SINGLE CLICK ON THE PRINT BUTTON!!!
