How do I keep Skype from reconizing my cell number? There is a Skype icon at the top of my Mozilla browser upper right side. I don't like.

When sending out fed ex packages I use my cell phone number as a contact number, however it appears that Skype is aware of this too. I would like to avoid any media from detecting my number. Thanks

You can disable the Skype add-on on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. I don't remember it's exact name, but it's along the lines of click-to-call.

Does that fix it?
