When I move screen along with finger if I take finger off screen it keeps moving by its self This is very annoying is there a setting to make it a bit more sticky ?

Hi

I have spoken the development team for Firefox for Android and have been given a solution that I have tested on my own device.

  1. In the address bar, go to about:config
  2. In the search bar (top right), enter ui.scrolling.friction
  3. This will display two settings ui.scrolling.friction_fast and ui.scrolling.friction_slow
  4. For both settings, double tap on the -1 (which display a number pad), delete the -1 and enter 1500.
  5. Once done, in the address bar, go to about:home, close the Firefox for Android app and re-open it.

You should now find that pages will scroll much less freely and be much more sticky.

I hope this helps, but if not please come back here and we will look into something different that may help.
