Can you clarify what password you mean?

Is that the password of the Firefox Sync account or from other service or website?

trying to sign in but will not accept my password

I am trying to sign into Mozilla support on my laptop (on this computer, it seems to have saved my log-on permanently) It won't accept my password, so I click on "my password isn't working". It sends me an email with a link to re-set my password. Do that. I get the same window back again, asking me to log in. AGAIN, it won't accept my password, again it says, "please enter the correct user name and password" This keeps happening, regardless of how many times I do it I am lucky to have two computers. How can one ask a question, if one can't log in?

Make sure to use the correct user name of the SUMO account (e.g. nako) in the username field and not the email address that shows in the screenshot.

Is there a password saved in the Firefox Password Manager?

If that is the case then try to remove this password.

You can also try to clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
