help after upgrading to 44 on mac, the maff extension stopped working

Maff extension was working fine on 43, saved a few pages this morning. Did an update to 44, and puff, now there is a blank space in the file TAB where we used to have "save archive" disappeared. What should I do? Am I missing something?
