How do I stop web photos from enlarging when cursor is on them?
I must have changed something accidentally because now every time my cursor is on any photo on a web page I've downloaded (for example, an article with a photo that you can click on to watch a video), the photo duplicates itself in a larger version. As soon as I take the cursor off the photo, the enlarged version goes away. One problem with this is that I can't click on the photo to watch a video (without playing cat and mouse until I finally catch the arrow). I drives me crazy. Can you help? Dorothy Coe de Hernandez

That's sort of useful, except when it causes problems... Anyway, that's not a built-in feature.
You added your list of extensions to your post (Thank you! See: Question Details > More System Details) and this one caught my eye as a potential culprit:
- Thumbnail Zoom Plus
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/thumbnail-zoom-plus/
Do you want to try disabling that one or check whether it lets you turn it off/on easily? For extensions that do not show a toolbar button or right-click context menu entry, you often can manage their settings (or Disable or Remove them) on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then this should be listed on the right side (enabled on top, disabled on the bottom).
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Any improvement?
