Whenever i use google to search it opens 3-5 new windows, usually Yahoo, Bing, Socialdownloadr (whatever that is) and occasionally adverts vaguely related to my search terms but always the first 3. I've tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling i've scanned my pc with AVG to no avail. please halp

Hi, are you using the default Google search or a variation that you or another program has added? - It sounds as if that might be the case, so see Add or remove a search engine in Firefox and make sure you are using the Google default.
