why does it take an entire day sometimes to download a webm file?
i am using firefox 50.1.0 and video download helper 6.2.0
i have had zero problems until webm. i can download any file, music video from youtube, for instance, and it takes a few seconds. but a webm file from youtube sometimes takes an entire day and if there is an auto reboot in there somewhere (from a windows update or something), i don't get the file.
any suggestions?

it's just a 'normal' music video file from you tube... 10-20meg files. i am using Video DownloadHelper. it works great on every other file. if there is a choice of files, i always pick the mp4 or avi or whatever. if there is only one choice, and it's usually just a webm file, it can take an entire day. to get a 15meg file.
but since then, i found https://github.com/gantt/downloadyoutube and it seems to work great so far.
so i am pretty sure its a problem with Video DownloadHelper. and i'll just quit using it.
