google blocked
Google Search and Yahoo is blocked since I made a Firefox "Cleanup". what I get is:
Fehlercode: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
No Chance to add Google as exception.

kaspersky would need to modify your firefox profile in a particular way for this interception to work - by refreshing firefox that modification (an inserted certificate in the browser trust store) has got reset...

hi, you should never create an exception for major sites like google since they will properly setup their certificates and this error message is an indication that some software on your machine or network is compromising secure connections.
a solution depends on the individual circumstances, so please give us more information about the error by clicking on the error code, copying the text to the clipboard and then pasting it here into a reply in the forum.
thank you!

thanks, your problem is caused by kaspersky intercepting https connections - please refer to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER#w_kaspersky i hope the instructions apply for the mac version as well ...
This is strange. Sometimes I get Kasperski messages when I#m surfing. But the Firefox Message does not speak about Kasperski. Nevertheless when I switch off Kasperski it works. BUT: The description you gave me with the link does not help me with the Kasperski windows...? mozilla support says: Open the dashboard of your Kaspersky application. > OK I did. Click on Settings on the bottom-left. > this should be "Einstellungen" in German: nowhere. Click Additional and then Network. > Can't find this either.
See screenshot.
Another Screenshot of the First Kasperski window
try to uncheck the box "sichere verbindungen (https) untersuchen" from your screenshot.
Thanks! now it works. But I wonder why this appeared after I had made a "reset" of Firefox?! I didn't change anything at my Kasperski.

Thanks a lot for clearing!
