Every hour (or about that time) my pages will crash and i need to refresh them.

They will stay open, but stop working. Clicking on them will refresh them, and I can continue working.

Also YouTube will play slowly or stop playing during playing.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Try uBlock Origin as a replacement for Adblock Plus to see if that has effect.
