I'm trying to adjust the settings for an email account. I'm able to make the change, but when I hit "OK", nothing happens. The only way to get out is to hit cancel. It looks like the change works, but when I close Thunderbird and then re-open, it's back at the old setting. Any ideas?

I am sure I answered this question at least once today already.

Change the name of the account. Try adding a 1 where the cursor is flashing and then click ok.

Thanks - Unfortunately, that didn't work (I still couldn't hit OK to get out of the dialog box). I was able to manually make the change I wanted by directly editing the prefs file, but that's not really working either. The setting I want is correctly showing (delete mail older than 30 days), but it's not actually deleting the mail.

I think this problem started when I moved the files to a different hard drive, but I'm not sure.
