My Toolbar has dissapperaed from the top of my Thundebird page and I cannot write or send e-mails
How do I get the toolbar back at the top of my Thunderbird page to write and send e-mails

On a PC, open the affected window and use alt or F10 to make a menu appear temporarily. In that menu, go to View|Toolbars and tick the checkboxes for the missing items. I think you are looking for the Mail Toolbar in the main window. The Send button appears on the Composition Toolbar in the Write (or composition) window. In both cases, I'd also enable the Menu Bar.
If you're using a Mac, then I don't know what tricks to play to make the menu appear.
