Firefox crashes laptop when i add a webpage to favourites?
When I favorite a webpage 9 times out of 10 Firefox will crash and cause my laptop to stop working, to fix this I have to do a hard reboot (holding the power button) every time, once the laptop has restarted the webpage sometimes doesn't save so i have to repeat the above steps as it sometimes crashes multiple times in a row. This doesn't happen on any other web browser and has only started doing this since the latest Firefox update, can someone explain whats happening?

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:
- all extensions are disabled (about:addons)
- default theme is used (no persona)
- userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome folder)
- default toolbar layout is used (file: localstore-safe.rdf)
- Javascript JIT compilers are disabled (prefs: javascript.options.*jit)
- hardware acceleration is disabled (Options > Advanced > General)
- plugins are not affected
- preferences are not affected
