Change shortcut key to open location. Want to remap cmd+l to cmd+d in osx
I am in macOS Mojave (10.14) and firefox quantum 63.0.3. I am unable to or don't know how to remap shortcut cmd+l (Open Location) to cmd+d

Thanks for your response McCoy. I was able to remap the shortcut in chrome as it had a menu command "Open Location...". But in firefox I don't see similar command in menu to remap.

I've been doing some more searching, and I found this bug report :

It is this command in Firefox (function: openLocation();):

So, I tried the same. I kept firefox running without any window. When I looked in menu, I saw "Open Location..." and it is mapped to cmd+d as configured in the shortcuts. When I did cmd+d it did open a window and kept the focus on addressbar. But when a window is open this is not appearing in the menu and shortcut is getting mapped to bookmarks.
Any idea why Open Location is not always displayed?

I think the issue talks about something else and not this issue.
