Are you trying to install the actual language pack for TB 60.5 or the Dutch spell-checking dictionary?

There is a language pack for each version of TB. For TB 52.9.1/Windows, the Dutch language pack is here.

I Clicked the link and Firefox said "dutch language pack corrupt", so it's still impossible to download the pack.

The 'corrupt' error appears because by (left) clicking the link in Firefox, you're trying to install it in Firefox, not TB. Right-click the link, Save Link As..., download the xpi file, then in TB Tools/Add-ons/Extensions, click the gear icon next to search, Install Add-on from file..., and select the xpi file. Or, drag the link from Firefox and drop it onto TB Tools/Add-ons/Extensions.

Make sure you get the right pack for your version of TB. For the Windows version of TB 60.8, the Dutch language pack is here. Right-click the link, Save Link As... to download the installer.

thank you! Download worked, and I installed the add-on language pack. However, Thunderbird is still in English, how do I switch it to Dutch?

Good question, and the answer is far from obvious. For TB 60, you have to create a new preference in Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor by right-clicking in the Config. window, New, String, with the name intl.locale.requested and the value (for Dutch) nl. Restart TB and the menus and folder names will be in the specified language. Tested and working in TB 60.8/W10. Eventually, there will be a compatible add-on to make this easier. But if you don't switch between English and Dutch, and only wish to have TB in Dutch, download and install the Dutch version.

Thanks! I just did install the Dutch version, and all emails were still there so it did the job somehow, perfect!

Did you right-click, not click, the link? Make sure you're installing it in TB not Firefox.
