I keep getting logged out of websites everytime I restart my computer.
Everytime i start firefox after starting my computer I am logged out of all websites, for example youtube and netflix. I have tried every solution I oculd find online but none of them helps. I have cookies enabled and everything, but nothing works. This is why I keep having to download chrome, and its getting very annoying. It does remember me if I just restart the browser tho.

Hi kevindenartonde, it sounds as though "something" is clearing your Firefox cookies at Windows startup. Do you use any privacy/cleaning programs such as CCleaner or Advanced SystemCare that may flush away browser data at system startup? I suggest only using Firefox's internal features to clean up data you want to clear, and setting other programs not to mess with your Firefox data.
In case you use "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear history.
- do not clear the Cookies
- do not clear the Site Preferences
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history":
[X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-browsing-search-download-history-firefox
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data
- clearing "Cookies" will remove all selected cookies including cookies with an allow exception you may want to keep
You can let the cookies expire when Firefox is closed to make them session cookies instead of using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the cookies.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: [ ] "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed"
You can create an allow exception to keep specific cookies. Note that an allow exception only works with "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" and not when you otherwise clear cookies.

I checked and I only clear cache in clear history when firefox is exited. I dont clear cookies anywhere.
Did you check for external cleanup software like posted above ?
This happens to me its so annoying, ive done everything that has been listed and it still happens even when i i just restart the browser!!!
Hi Airah
This will only happen if you do not keep cookies for involved websites, so double check the settings in all software that could possibly cause this.
