Will Thunderbird support Zoho.com email 2FA OneAuth?
I have two email accounts that I access via Thunderbird v91.8.1 (64 bit): -
1. Gmail, which is set up to use Gmail's OAuth2 and works fine and, 2. Zoho mail, which currently uses Username and 'Normal password' authentication, which also works fine. For now.
If Zoho mail stops supporting username/password and tightens their security to use MFA (as they are likely to, like Gmail has) then their equivalent to OAuth2 is their own 'OneAuth' and Thunderbird does not seem to support this at this time.
If this happens then I will no longer be able to use TB to access my Zoho emails so can you tell me if TB is intending to support zoho's OneAuth as well as Gmail's OAuth2 and when we may expect this to happen?
Thank you

The best place to post would be bugzilla.mozilla.org. Post a new bug/enhancement request there. It will get triaged and assigned to the relevant folks.
Thanks for the reply. I tried to create a Bugzilla account so I could post but after entering my email I got the message as follows so don't know if it's me or Bugzilla that is at fault: -
That's not happening on my end. Try a different email address.
Thanks. I tried again with a different email address this morning and it worked.
Enhancement request now submitted to bugzilla.
I know these things don't get fixed overnight but, if they do fix it (and I remember) I will post an update in case it helps other zoho email users.
Given that ZoHo support oauth2.0 asking for some proprietary propocol is unlikely to fly. I filed a bug requesting oauth2.0 for Zoho months ago https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1751600 and have added a see also link in your enhancement request to that.
