Thunderbird 102.3.3 unable find contacts in address book.
Thunderbird 102: when composing new email can't find some names in address book. Some names, which can be found in my address book (and appear in all address books), can't be found when I compose a new email.

My reply: There's no problem finding the contact within the address book. The problem occurs when creating a new email message. Thunderbird is unable to locate some contacts in the address book. This is a new problem when Mozilla updated to the new style address book.

I have the same problem. I've tried clearing the cache; and deleting the offending addresses and re-creating them both manually, and from an import. No luck. Even when I select one of these individuals in my address book and click the "Write" button, the new message is opened, but the email address is flagged as not in my address book.
Edit: After typing the above, I sent an address to one of the individuals. That fixed the issue for me. That person is now found in autocomplete, and is not flagged as "not in my address book". Definitely seems like a bug to me.
