How do I get my email messages on top. # List them with the newest 1st on top.....and oldest at the end on the bottom ??

Tap three horizontal bars of different widths in the upper right corner of the message list. Then tap "Date" or "Arrival". Then your messages will be sorted in ascending (or descending) order. You can repeat the above steps to make your messages sorted in descending (or ascending) order.
