My own persona does not remain after I choose it. Instead it reverts back to the old selection. Why?

i made my own persona header and footer. the dimensions for the header are 1280px by 123px and for the footer are 1280px by 50px.

i used the custom persona add-on to upload the images. the browser changed to those two images, but when i closed the custom persona tab, the images disappeared and the persona reverted to my old selection.

i do not want to submit these designs on the persona site, i only want them for myself.

my browser details are: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8

I assume that you use the Persona Plus extension.
Did you check the settings in that extension?
