Firefox won't start any downloads. The dialog box appears, and I press "Save File," but then nothing happens. I have no downloads anywere. Also, I can't reinstall Firefox because I all ready got rid of Internet Explorer.

Okay, so I just tried again, and it said that it couldn't save because I don't have proper permissions. I also I have a program download other things, and it stopped around the same time Firefox stopped working and said it didn't have proper permissions. I didn't change any settings on my laptop. Solutions?!
All right, so I narrowed it down. Everything will download to any other folder than my downloads folder. But I still want to download things to there. What do I do?
