If you want to have a choice of blank or homepage in a new tab, there is a simple way around this.

Open the Customize window and put the Home button on toolbar if not already.

Use the middle-click (scroll wheel on mouse) on Home button to open your homepage in a new tab, whenever you want homepage to load in a new tab.

I already know that but what i want to know that is when i click on new tab button( the plus sign), i want Firefox to immediately go to homepage instead of giving me a choice of where to go by giving a blank page.
