A while back I down loaded the up grade to Firefox4, it would not work on my MacBook 10.4.11 Has this been fixed?

The Firefox 4 will not work at all on my Mac Book 10.4.11 it stated it would not support this older version is there any plan to make it compatible? or do I just have to wait until I buy an newer Mac Book?

As far as I know 4.0 is not supported on 10.4 and on 10.5 the Mac must be running on Intel. From the number of problems on reported on the now defunct feedback site, it would seem there never was decent checking that should have warned immediately.
