I have an LG Optimus V (thru Virgin Mobile obviously)...I see that it is ava. for 2 other Optimus phones...why not the V; and when will it be ava.?

Firefox requires an cpu that supports ARMv7. The LG Optimus V supports ARMv6. Unfortunately our tests on ARMv6 have shown that the cpu is just too slow to support Firefox.

Thanks for the timely response. Do you know if if they plan to make a stable mobile version ava., or is it a dead issue to peruse it? I've read there is one out there, but not very stable.

There are not any plans to support ARMv6 at this time.
