firefox 6 does not load facebook with three columns everythng is to the right of screen
FF is not loading facebook pages properly - everything is to the right of the screen. I have tried IE and Chrome - no problems - it is a definite FF issue that needs addressed. Also - it is NOT a font size issue - and it is ONLY on facebook - please help ASAP!! I am about to switch browsers....

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
This is NOT the answer - all what you are saying to do does - is increase the font - it is a page lay-out issue - NOT a font size issue. Until FF upgraded to 6 - all was fine........
Good bye Firefox - this does not happen with IE or CHROME...
If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages:
- Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
- NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/
I have Windows XP, and have NO plans on changing because there's nothing wrong with it. But the columns on Facebook Home Page and Facebook Profile page are all to the right. Please, give us an easy solution. This technical crap does the average lay person who is NOT a computer genius a horrible time trying to figure out what the heck you are saying that will resolve the issue. Please...just write a plug in or something so we can download it and be done with it.
cor-el, I tried your suggestion. It did nothing! Now I have to reset the font so I can SEE this small print!
It is better to use one of the extensions that I posted above to increase the font on web pages than do that by increasing the minimum font size.
If you made excessive changes to the default font settings then you may have to reset the font prefs on the about:config page and reset some browser.display prefs as well to get this working properly.

I am experiencing the same problem and as the original poster said it is NOT a font issue. I don't have this problem using Internet Explorer or Safari - where the font is set to extra large. This is a FIREFOX issue only. I guess it's time to say good-bye to Firefox and go back to IE.

What are the font settings in Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced ?
Can you attach a screenshot of that window?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
- Oops I didn't mean to reply twice.

That does not fix the problem ... thanks for trying to help!
Are you sure that you haven't increased the default minimum font size from the default value none?
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
OMG I can't stand this column to right problem in Facebook!! Have tried every suggestion here ...and agree ... why can't Firefox do a Plug-in fix or just fix it?? All this computer adjustments told to check/change is a big waste of TIME!! Come on Firefox ... email me the solution to the problem ....
I reset the zoom on a FB hosted game pg page, and it works fine. now, to try it on the FB News Feed/ Home. tried resetting the zoom on fB home and it corrected the problem.

Ok Guys and gals, Here is a CLUE ! I have the same problem as listed above. Here is the clue, but I don't know how it figures into the scheme of things.
I have 2 users set up for my vista OS. The admin user, Fire fox 6.02 works fine. The second user is my name and its fire fox 6.02 is screwed up. I can load Gmail, yahoo, Boost mobile and others in the second user login. But if I log in as Administrator the Fire fox is fine. Fast, clean and stable.
So Some how my settings in the user #2 is or has corrupted and or changed ! I didnt do it, Firefox somehow changed the settings or became corrupt in my #2 user login account using Firefox 6.02.
Now I have tried to use a new user in fire fox and that did not fix firefox for user #2 on Vista.
I also disabled AD BLOCKER and that didnt help either.
SO my only observation is that the VISTA user #2 account utilizing FireFox 6.02 has changed some how and won't load web pages properly.
Vista User account #1 Fire fox works Fine...
Any idea? how to get user accounts FireFox 6.02 to work properly ?
