Why does my search engine for searching via address bar keep changing?
Ever 2-3 days after i change the search engine for searching via address bar to google it goes back to suchsmachine? how do i change this permanently to google?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
