I have a dynamic database on a server one field is a hyperlink that points to different *.ppt files located on a differnet server . when the client clicks on the hyperlink it opens fine in IE but does not open in firefox or Chrome . example of hyperlink . direct link I have tried using "M|diagrams\Cust......... also did not work . I read somewhere on internet this could be a security issue in Chrome and Firefox Can this be fixed locally on the Client using firefox as browser? or can i fix the hyper link on the server somehow so that the all browsers work ..?

Note that Firefox can't handle PowerPoint files like IE can, so you would still have to open such a file in PowerPoint or a PP viewer program.
