Why is typed text is deleted in search bar after not using a bookmark?
For example I have an eBay.com bookmark. So I type in "e" and then eBay comes up. But I continue to type "spn" and the e that I had typed was erased and it doesn't even give a search suggestion for "espn".

What device, Android version and keyboard?
It's an HTC One using the swype keyboard and Android 4.4.2.
